Este estudio se caracterizó por su naturaleza teórico-descriptiva y correlacional de nivel básico, empleando para ello el método hipotético deductivo, de enfoque cuantitativo. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 15 alumnos quienes respondieron a instrumentos como cuestionarios centrados en dos variables: plan lector de cuentos y la comprensión lectora, buscando identificar la relación entre ellas. Los resultados obtenidos demostraron una relación positiva entre el plan lector de cuentos y la comprensión lectora. Esto se traduce en un método prometedor para fomentar el proceso educativo y la adquisición de habilidades en distintas áreas curriculares en el nivel de Educación Inicial.
